Breathing
through Sound
Through each yoga posture, we can either intensify
or therapeutically calm down our daily practice, by using
various sound techniques. Focus with your awareness, by
starting with a simple syllable type of chants and
developing it into phrases, prayers, or songs. Each sound
creates internal vibrations to increase circulation
throughout the body. The effects is determined by how
sound is used with particular vowels and consonants and
the level of pitch and volume. To increase the pitch you
are energizing your systems, while lowering the pitch your
systems becomes calm.
